Shahrukh Khan started his career with the small screen playing as Abhimanyu in the serial Fauji in the year 1988, after that he has done acted for serials Dil Dariya and Circus, and the Telefilm "In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones".

Then he joined the big screen club with the superhit movie Deewana in the year 1992. After super success of the movie he did two movie Baazigar and Darr in  negative role in the year 1993, and has been awarded critics award for his awesome performance.

The bollywood journey started in the year 1992 with the superhit film Deewana never stopped and continued with Yash Raj Films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge  in the year, the movie broke box office records and was awarded as the best movie of the year. After DDLJ bollywood directors found Shahrukh suits more in a romantic kind of guy rather than negative role in Baazigar and Darr. Then the journey started as a lover guy with the movies Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Na Ho (2003) and Veer-Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006).
